In May 2019, I went on a wildlife photography workshop to South Africa with four other photographers, under the auspices of Tripod Travelers. We traveled to Makutsi Safari Springs, an hour west of Kruger National Park. While there, we went on eight animal drives at different times of the day and spent many mornings at a nearby waterhole blind. We also visited the Blyde River Canyon. It was a trip of a lifetime.
