The Big Five +

The Africa Big Five are considered to be Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhinoceros, and Cape Buffalo. I photographed four of the five (no leopard) and so many more animals. I felt a special kinship with the elephants–large, wise, and focused–and I wished that in addition to hands, I had that useful trunk. Cheetahs, lions, impalas, nyalas, giraffes, vervet monkeys, baboons, zebras, and even the not-so-handsome hippos and rhinos–all were impressive to see in their wild homes.
