Florida West Coast
We stayed in Everglades City, a 500-person island town that is an entry point for the west Everglades. We stayed at the historic Ivey House and saw other original structures built by advertising mogul Barron Collier. From there, we visited Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, Ah-tah-thi-ki Seminole Museum, Ten Thousand Islands National Wildlife Refuge, Shark Valley, Three Sisters Farm, and the Fruit and Spice Park.
